At CrossPoint, we strive to pour love and encouragement into our parents.  We know that God has called parents to be the primary faith teachers for their children, so we do everything we can to empower them in those efforts.  Raising kids is hard, especially in today's culture, but we've got your back!

family retreat

Families of all ages are invited to Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose, TX for a great weekend! You'll get to enjoy time with God, with your family and with lots of other CrossPoint families! The Family Retreat has a different theme each year and offers fun recreational activities as well as age specific teaching moments.

Cost is $35 per person or $125 per family. That covers meals and lodging for Friday night - Sunday morning. Make sure to put October 18-20, 2019, on your calendar, and plan to make some memories together!

Parenting series

God calls us to be great parents.  At CrossPoint, we realize that equipping and empowering parents is crucial.  Every Wednesday night at JOURNEY, Tim and Robin Hall offer a parenting or marriage series to resource and encourage parents in the tough job of raising their kids.  Parents of all ages are invited. We are currently in a series called, "Parental Guidance Required."

The study starts at 6:30 on Wednesday nights.  You can join us for dinner at 6:00 as well!

This study will resume in September 2019.

Marriage series

Being a great spouse is the foundation for being a great parent.  God calls us to invest in our marriages and to submit ourselves to each other.  Every Wednesday night at JOURNEY, Tim and Robin Hall lead a marriage or parenting series for our adults at CrossPoint.  Come and bring your spouse as we invest in our marriages together.

Parent resources

We try to be intentional about using student and children's curriculum with built-in parent resources.  This makes the question, "So what did you learn in class today?" easier than ever for parents!  With our parent take-home sheets, moms and dads can jump into a conversation about what their kids are talking about in class.  There's often a family activity to go along with what we've been learning about that helps students apply the things they discuss at church into their everyday lives.  This is a vital piece in our teaching philosophy here at CrossPoint, as kids who talk about faith at home are far more likely to carry their faith into adulthood.

Find our parent take-home pages in the kiosk by the main bathrooms, or download them from the weekly youth and children's emails.

Unsure about signing up for emails?  We only send out one a week!
