When we are wanting something…desiring something…needing something, we tend to gaze. We get locked on to the thing we want most. We focus on what we believe will change our life. The Hebrew writer calls us to “fix our eyes” on Jesus. This year, our hope is that all distractions will fall to the wayside and we will make room to completely focus on Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
